How to Prevent Dust Accumulated in Centrifugal Fan

Centrifugal fans play an irreplaceable role in industrial and environmental protection enterprises. Because of the difficult environment, cleaning can not keep up with the rhythm, resulting in more and more dust, so that the blade rotor is unbalanced, resulting in strong vibration. At this time, it must be turned off to clean dust and crust.

First, use high-pressure air to remove dust from the blades of the centrifugal fan to avoid fouling. Because it is difficult to reduce the impact speed of the cyclone on the blades and the temperature of the exhaust gas, it is conceived to choose a high-pressure blower system to solve the problem of dust and crust in the impeller. The principle is to use high-pressure air to blow to the surface of the blade according to the nozzle, which can produce the following effects:

1. The high-pressure air from the nozzle can produce effective flushing force, so as to achieve a good dust removal effect of the centrifugal fan.

2. Before the exhaust gas rotates to contact the surface of the centrifugal fan blade, due to the mixing of air compression, the temperature of the exhaust gas affecting the blade surface decreases, thereby reducing the possibility of being on the blade.

3. If you want to clean up the stains on the blades of the centrifugal fan, you need to open the fan shell with a tool after the fan stops running, and enter the access door in the upper part of the shell; then, use the grinder to bind the bamboo pole and open the grinder. Go deep into the fan at a relatively slow speed until the blades align with the casing and start cleaning.

When cleaning the surface of the centrifugal fan blades, turn the grinder over and thoroughly clean the upper, lower, left and right positions of the blades. If conditions permit, the inner, outer and side skins of the blade should be polished as much as possible to repair its excellent characteristics.

4. The design of the centrifugal fan blades should be as consistent as possible with the streamline to reduce the influence of dust particles on the blades. The way to accomplish this is to design the blades backward or wing-shaped. The angle of the cutter head should be sufficiently inclined to avoid the hard skin at the front of the cutter head, and the axial direction should be sufficient to avoid the soft skin at the back of the cutter head. The wing should be carefully planned to prevent material accumulation inside.

5. The gas rate at the rotor inlet of the centrifugal fan should be reduced to reduce the impact rate of particles on the rotor. Generally speaking, the method to accomplish this is: ① Replace single air inlet with double air inlet. The fan adopts larger diameter and lower speed impulse. The axial flow fan of the centrifugal fan controls the wind force on the inlet circle of the rotor to be lower than 76 m/s and the inlet wind force to be lower than 38 m/s.

To improve the dust and scale accumulation of centrifugal fans, we should start with the design of the fans so as to be able to clean up and operate smoothly and reliably. In addition, daily maintenance should be carried out in time and dust accumulation should be cleaned up on time.
